Axis Dance Company beautifully embodies a golden combination of innovative, moving choreography and performance with a commitment to serving the community. Dancers with and without disabilities make up their company. Their classes are for people of all abilities and are affordable for people of all income levels. No performances coming up imminently, but worth checking out next time.

Look for more YAK Films on their YouTube channel. They’re an international crew, but they grew out of Youth Uprising and they’re all Oakland.
